Tiger Woods Releasing 10,000 NFT’s for Collectors
Tiger Woods has launched a non-fungible token (NFT) collection, his first foray into the digital realm. Autograph, a company co-founded by Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Tom Brady, will distribute the NFTs. Autograph will sell 10,000 digital images of Woods, which will be available only on the DraftKings Marketplace.
“I’m looking forward to bringing fans closer to my memorable sports moments at an accessible price, and to the game I respect so much” says Tiger.
The first digital image collection is already available for purchase, with prices ranging from $12 to $100. A $100 option for 375 limited copies is also available. The most expensive digital Woods signature cards start at $250 and go up to $1,500.
The second collection is set to be released next Tuesday. The Los Angeles-based Autograph’s Preseason Access Collection includes athletes such as Tom Brady, Wayne Gretzky, Simone Biles, Derek Jeter, Tony Hawk, and Naomi Osaka.
